According to sources, the Motorola Cliq 2 and the Dell Streak 7 can release till this January. Since this is a rumor, the launch date could very well change, and we may not see either device until after CES. We’re certainly hoping that the Cliq 2 will be a high-end device from Motorola, possibly competition the Droid 2.

While T-Mobile could certainly benefit from adding another tablet into its portfolio, I believe that more people will be interested in the Cliq 2. But that’s to say it’s a decent upgrade from its predecessor. Motorola is expanding their offerings in high-end devices to another carrier that’s not Verizon. So hopefully we’ll be seeing a high-end Cliq 2 in our center very soon.

Motorola is obviously quite proud of this tablet, and something tells us that Dell’s slightly upgraded tablet won’t be enough to turn heads once Motorola’s tablet waltzes into the room. I like to see a bigger tablet hit T-Mobile, and we know that Dell has a 10 incher creeping around somewhere, but maybe that will be saved for another time, or another carrier for that matter.

A pair of apps designed to work with T-Mobile’s Night In deal with Blockbuster are available to download for iPhones and Android devices.

Both apps allow you to search for the nearest Blockbusters store directly from your phone, and check to see what new titles are available to rent. If you’re not sure about a film or game when you’re in the store, you can scan in the barcodes on the app to read other people’s reviews.Of course the primary purpose of the app is to provide you with your all important Night In voucher code.

The apps themselves are free but (surprise) only available to T-Mobile customers. Hit up the link below to download it for your iPhone. There’s no direct download link for the Android app; simply search for ‘night in’ in the Market and it should be the top result.
