The Santa Clara will be the first smartphone to have an Intel chipset with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor & 1GB of RAM.

They have been working on a mobile processor for long time but due to some battery life problems they were not able to launch the smartphone. However, they’ve now resolved the problem and launching Santa Clara, a multi-tasking device.

The Orange Santa Clara features a 4.03 inch touchscreen, an 8 mega-pixel camera that can record HD videos and plays back smoothly on the device with the help of high-performance graphics chip.

Only bad about the device is its old Android 2.3, but have a chance of updating to Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Right now neither the release date nor the price has been listed on Orange’s site but once we hear anything about it we’ll let you know.

Other than the camera the smartphone sports a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen under the power of 1.3 GHz processor, 512MB RAM & 16GB of onboard memory. Just like other Nokia smartphones it runs on the Symbian operating system and can record HD 1080p videos.

The Apple 4S has increased the level of iPhone technology and Galaxy S2 is the fastest, slimmest and the most popular handset recently introduced by the Samsung. These both are the new milestones in the smart phone technology and there is a big competition in between these two big brand names.

The iPhone 4S vs. Galaxy S2 –

Dimensions:

Both the devices posses interestingly designed bodies. But, when it comes to a perfect dimension comparison between the two devices, then the winner is Samsung Galaxy S2. The Samsung mobile is a winner because it can be easily fitted into your pockets and purse as compare to the Apple 4S. Besides, the Galaxy S2 has a weight of 117 grams and lighter than its competitor iPhone 4S which has a weight of 140 grams.

Display Screen:

There is a big difference in the screens of both the cellular phones. Here again the Galaxy S2 proves better than the Apple 4S, as it has a 4.27 inches Super AMOLED plus screen. While, the iPhone 4S has a 3.5 inches LCD display screen with IPS. However, the Apple handset offers a clear resolution of 960 x 640 pixels which is far better than the Galaxy S2 resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.

Battery:

The Apple 4S and the Galaxy S2 are at the same level in terms of the battery comparison. The technical specifications of the handset’s battery are as follows: Apple 4S has a 1432mAh Li-PO battery which generally provides a longer talk time of 14 hours in 2G and 8 hours in the 3G. Likewise, the Galaxy S2 has a Li-Ion battery of 1650mAh which is capable to give a talk time of 18 hours 20 minutes in 2G and 8 hours 40 minutes in 3G.

Software:

The operating system is considered as the main difference in both of the handsets. In this category Apple 4S is far better than the Galaxy S2 as it runs on the latest iOS 5 which has given a new meaning to its system speed. In comparison to that, the Galaxy S2 use Google Android 2.3 platform which is less smart than its competitor in terms of system navigation, access to applications etc.

Camera:

Both of the handsets are bestowed with the 8mp rear camera. The major difference occurs between their front facing cameras, where Galaxy S2 has the 2mp camera and iPhone comes with the VGA camera. But, some other main features of the Apple mobile are face recognition, Hybrid IR filter and auto white balance that makes it much better than the Samsung Galaxy S2.

Thus, the comparison between the two strong devices comes up with a very balanced conclusion!
